Windows browser panes skipped every screencast restart, so automatic tab changes and reconnects could leave them showing the previous page. The host assumed agent-browser had no Windows control endpoint, but both 0.27.0 and 0.31.1 publish their loopback TCP endpoint in
<session>.port.Read that port after proving the daemon live, and send the same bounded screencast actions used on Unix. Missing, stale, or invalid port metadata refuses the operation. Numeric state reads also reject malformed and out-of-range ports. Native Windows/macOS CI now runs the browser-host suite with the shell suite.
Validation: the real-transport-shape regression failed before the fix; 66 browser-host/shell tests pass with 3 platform skips. Four Windows endpoint refusal cases and malformed stream-port cases pass. Library types, spec/Markdown, outbound classification, and workflow lints pass. No native browser visual verification is claimed; protocol tests use a loopback daemon fixture.
Live Windows validation in the combined standalone harness also passes: with #1304 preserving a temporary browser configuration, the nested agent-browser pane renders its test page and the first script records 1440 x 900 at DPR 1. This exercises the real installed agent-browser 0.27.0 daemon through the TCP control endpoint.
