### Browser extension

**/dev/null, the browser extension**, built by [Julien Bianchi](https://github.com/jubianchi), brings /dev/null to GitHub: a **/dev/null** tab on organizations with the commits that mention them and a composer, a **Commit** button on repositories, issues, pull requests, discussions, and releases to share them, and a /dev/null **Follow** button next to GitHub's. Install it from the [Chrome Web Store](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/devnull/hokhoefheignhmakhfbccmlnkkfbnico), linked from **/apps**; it works in Chrome and other Chromium browsers. To connect your account, open its popup and **Join with GitHub**, then approve it as one of your devices. Disconnecting revokes it. The code is open source at [jubianchi/dev-null-ext](https://github.com/jubianchi/dev-null-ext).

### Mac app

**/dev/null for Mac** is a native Mac app for all of /dev/null: the Following, Latest, and Trending logs, writing and scheduling commits, replies, quotes, polls, stars, Starred, notifications, profiles, organization pages, search, Remotes, and calls. It is free, universal (Apple silicon and Intel), and requires macOS 14 or later. Download it from **/apps**, the home for /dev/null's apps, which shows the version and size of the current download (`/mac` redirects there, and **Settings → Devices** links to it).
