Factor of 2 while generating `maskX`

Thanks for sharing the code!
This is more of a query than an issue: I was wondering why a factor of 2 is multiplied while generating maskX in MOTSInstanceMaskPool. py while preparing the database of instances here?
Would it also work without that factor in the code?
