Publish the task-facing ReActV2 text completion contract, OpenRouter output-limit omission fix, and existing Finch security update as Imp 0.8.0. The minor bump reflects the model-facing field migration. Versioned documentation, package metadata and release contract agree. Local package/docs contract tests passed (35 tests, 0 failures), mix hex.build and mix docs passed, and authenticated publication dry-run passed. Independent release review posted; required CI gates publication. Closes #274.

Independent source review of 16e4605: no blocking findings.

The release metadata, generated API manifest version, package contract, installation examples and versioned documentation links consistently move to 0.8.0. A minor release is appropriate for the model-facing task-field change. The release notes distinguish this contract change from live model usefulness and retain the limitations around streaming usage, unreported charges, fallback parsing and checkpoint sensitivity.

I checked the migration claims against ReActV2's task-derived step signature, saved-history/demo projection and restore path, and the OpenRouter request/stream hooks and wire fixtures. The Finch statement matches the declared ~> 0.24 dependency and its connection-closing error path; the lock now holds Mint 1.11.0, so the old requirement to choose between that security update and timeout recovery is obsolete. Existing application locks still need the explicit dependency update described in the notes.

This diff changes release surfaces, not runtime code. I inspected the exact diff and current implementation, and git diff --check passes. The package/docs contract tests and CI were still running at review time; their successful completion remains a publication gate. No provider calls were made for this review.

Local release validation at 16e4605: package and documentation contract tests passed (35 tests, 0 failures; 1 existing excluded test); mix hex.build and mix docs passed. Built package checksum c593856a387deb524c04fb4d61917b6f2a87bca87bf0aac04cf8f2b671c594c3. Independent release review posted. Publication awaits required CI and renewed Hex authentication; no package has been published yet.

The first stranger.check run failed one existing timing assertion in optimizer_trajectory_test.exs:190: the normally instant second row exceeded its 50ms per-row timeout. The same code passed the regular full suite and both suites on the immediately preceding integration tree. No runtime or test changes made; rerunning the failed CI job to check the scheduling-flake hypothesis. Publication remains gated on green CI.
