Define the observed-lifecycle probe, implementation sequence, acceptance criteria, and context synchronization needed to safely attribute mutations from Claude-managed background Bash commands. The plan covers retaining scopes through terminal completion, recovery and health behavior, hook registration, and Git/trace attribution regressions across T01–T09.

Record that Claude Code 2.1.284 produced no model turn or lifecycle completion evidence needed to prove managed-background safety. Preserve the fail-closed admission boundary and direct future work toward SCE-owned process supervision, with the evidence and plan state updated for T01.

Replace the lifecycle-safety design with a minimal compatibility plan that admits native background Bash outside the mutation-scope adapter while retaining foreground behavior and PowerShell denial. Document the accepted attribution-contamination tradeoff and reduce the task stack to focused adapter regressions, context updates, and foreground contract checks.

Restore the documented Claude capability while making the attribution boundary explicit: native background Bash is permitted without SCE tracking, and lifecycle completion remains unproven.
Add the superseding accepted ADR and update the Claude mutation-scope context and map to distinguish the decision from the adapter's current denial until T03, while keeping background PowerShell denied.
Complete T02 with the accepted A/B contamination tradeoff documented outside SCE's attribution guarantees.

Ignore background Bash lifecycle hooks before repository or adapter-state access because they have no tracked attempt to attribute. Add regression coverage for recovery barriers, unrelated attempts, and foreground close behavior.

Pin foreground Bash and PowerShell tracking, mutation-capable tool handling, read-only and delegation exclusions, and self-detaching foreground behavior with focused adapter regressions.

This preserves the existing lifecycle and output while covering background-flag edge cases without changing production code.
