Description

Promote the Durable Execution Telemetry Exporter to stable 1.0.0.

  • Bump the package version from 0.0.1 to 1.0.0.
  • Set the Production/Stable classifier and remove the experimental README disclaimer.
  • Update telemetry release-tag examples to telemetry-exporter-v1.0.0.
  • Add two metadata tests for version consistency and stable status.
They allow future stable releases rather than pinning tests to 1.0.0.

This follows aws/aws-durable-execution-sdk-js#1030 after Python rename #786.
No runtime behavior, schema version, OTLP scope derivation, or public API changes.
Ruff preview mode and core/plugin experimental fields remain unchanged.
Other package versions, dependencies, and conformance tests remain unchanged.

Testing

Validated locally on Python 3.14.4 with Hatch 1.18.1.

  • Regression: both remaining metadata tests failed against the original metadata.
  • Telemetry suite: 159 passed, including both existing local e2e tests.
  • Full hatch run test:cov: 5,081 passed, 2 skipped; 98% reported coverage.
  • Repository type checks: passed all five configured groups (196 files).
  • All nine packages passed hatch fmt --check and hatch build.
  • Telemetry wheel and sdist: 1.0.0 stable metadata and required legal files verified.
  • Noneditable wheel import: public and installed versions both report 1.0.0.
The import uses the local checkout core SDK, not a clean dependency environment.
  • Installed OTel wheel lanes: current 668 + 12 passed; legacy 12 passed.
  • OTel dependency contract, all published-package legal checks, and commit lint passed.

Release notes and scope

The publisher remains unchanged and includes all four packages.
A future GitHub Release whose tagged source includes this bump will also attempt
telemetry 1.0.0 publication, even if its release tag names another package.
This PR does not publish a package or create a release.

Release PR #764 changes only the testing version and is untouched.

Remove the experimental markers from seven plugin payload fields:
OperationInfo.result and error, InvocationInfo.execution_input and
operations, InvocationStartInfo.updated_operations, and
InvocationEndInfo.error and execution_result.

Defaults, keyword-only status, and repr, compare and hash behavior
are unchanged. Remove the test that required the markers. Add
end-to-end tests for result and error payloads on the operation,
user function and invocation hooks.

Codex AI review

No actionable findings in the seven changed files. Static inspection only; tests and builds were not executed, so runtime and packaging validation remain unverified.
