In this Python Flask Tutorial, we will be learning how to structure a web app using python Flask framework as backend api.

Requirements

The program is written in python language. Find all requirements in requirements.txt file at the root folder.

Instructions

1. Setup environment

• (optinal) create a virtual environment before installing all required dependencies:

virtualenv env
source env/bin/activate

• Install dependecies

pip install -r requirements.txt

1. Setup db

python3

from app import create_app
app = create_app()
app.app_context().push()
from app import db, create_app
db.create_all(app=create_app())

3. Executing the program

To execute the program, run:

python app.py
