Open the result panel at its full height inside the window #9055

Feature Summary

The result panel opens 500px tall, but it is placed 300px above the bottom of the workspace, so its bottom 200px fall below the window. Its paging controls are often out of sight until the panel is dragged up. Pressing the dock button puts it back in the same place.

The default height went from 300 to 500 at some point, but the offset the panel is placed by stayed at 300.

Proposed Solution or Design

Place the panel by its default height instead of a fixed 300px, so a panel opened or docked at that height sits fully inside the window.
