@potiuk, we should merge this before releasing from v3-2-test. Lucily v3.2.0 has been released and the difference is now very low. Additionally, after this is merged, I will ensure everything will be backported and will update the release docs.

Tested the integration tests locally 4 times. Let's see in CI as well, better safe than sorry

I will collect the release notes from the main branch to hand out to Jarek during the release so that we won't miss PRs and contributors' visibility into these changes.
