Issue: Using auto-session and toggle-term, my focused non-toggle-term buffer starts in insert mode at nvim startup when
start_in_insertis true.Hacky fix: If the plugin has been loading for less than 2 seconds, assume it's startup and don't change modes. Drawback is that I can't load a session with focus on the terminal and have it start in insert mode.
I have no expectation of being merged as-is, but with a few pointers I or others could do it the right way.
