Mac release currently waits for a DMG before invoking its creation and contains obsolete interpreter removal and i386 thinning. Create the image after py2app and signature repair, preserve the built bundle, and use automatic image sizing. Derive GUI package and blackhole imports from the existing application manifest so QCast can build without CLI import overrides. Focused tests cover image creation order and command paths; native build validation follows CI.
