WIT-Calendar Website

The website for the WIT-Calendar project, hosted at calendar.witcc.dev.

The site is built with SvelteKit (Svelte 5 + TypeScript) and deployed to Cloudflare Workers using the SvelteKit Cloudflare adapter.

Prerequisites

• Node.js 20.19 or newer (required by Vite 7)
• npm (comes with Node.js)
• Recommended editor extension: Svelte for VS Code

Getting Started

Clone the repository and install dependencies:

git clone https://github.com/WITCodingClub/calendar-website.git
cd calendar-website
npm i

Developing

Start the local development server with hot reloading:

npm run dev

The site will be available at http://localhost:5173. To open it in your browser automatically, run npm run dev -- --open.

static/	Static files served as-is (e.g. robots.txt)

To add a new page, create a +page.svelte file in a folder under src/routes/. For example, src/routes/events/+page.svelte is served at /events.
