Built-in
String(...)falls through to an unknown call for primitive inputs. Model omitted, nullish, boolean, string, and concrete numeric conversions, preserving symbolic string values and UTF-16 code units. Resolve source-bound or shadowedStringcallables normally; object and symbolic-number conversion remain explicit runtime limitations.The diff against
maincontains only the primitive converter, dispatch/limitation wiring, and source-level regression tests: one commit, five files, +306. Rebased onto43af0bdf789c0608ecaa2c702c32d3f8bee9de50, which contains the merged prerequisite changes. The feature patch is unchanged, as verified bygit range-diff.Validation: all five
TsStringConversionTesttests passed on the rebased branch, including Node replay for supported conversions and explicit checks for unsupported domains. Whitespace checks passed. Broader suites remain for CI; this validation covers the tested conversion semantics, not representative class-experiment coverage.
