More important for IC logs, this suggestion came as a result of the Witch Trials PLvsAA casing where we have to look up who said what in testimony a lot to verify that statement did happen. Just good in general for casing and other types of roleplays as I find myself having to check my logs a lot either way but I just open the file in my file editor.
However be careful to batch load cuz these logs can get LONG in hours of play. Old AO like 2.4 era actually slowed down to a crawl and crashed because the logs were rendered in full and all that text had the client chugging, which resulted in implementing the configurable log limit. But being able to still look into your old logs should be possible in some way with optimization and batching or whatever.
