Prefix the root README launch command with FLOW_MANAGE_SERVER=1 so a fresh clone gets the engine-owned setup, where the canvas restart button applies merged agents, skills and MCP changes without leaving the app.

What changed

  • Launch command in Run it is now FLOW_MANAGE_SERVER=1 bun openflow.ts
  • Added a note: the var hands the engine to the canvas (one-click restart), is opt-in, never adopts a running engine, and has per-shell prefix syntax (POSIX / PowerShell $env: / cmd set)

Root README.md is a fork-owned surface, so this stays within the no-upstream-modification rule.
