Repository hygiene for the public flip: SECURITY.md, SHA-pinned actions, README deploy section - #115
Conversation
The repo went public on 2026-10-16. This is the file-level part of the pre-public checklist from #54: - SECURITY.md: where to report, response expectations, scope, and pointers to the controls a reviewer should look at first. - Every third-party GitHub Action is pinned to a commit SHA with the version in a trailing comment (two already were). Dependabot watches the github-actions ecosystem monthly so the pins do not age silently. Go modules are left to `make deps` on purpose. - The README deployment section described a `release` branch that no longer exists. It now matches RELEASE.md: the v* tag is the deploy and workflow_dispatch redeploys for rollback. AGENTS.md said the uptime check pings /v1/hello; it pings /v1/health. - docs/sales-slick.md removed. Marketing copy in a code repo read oddly and nothing linked it. Assisted-by: Claude Fable 5.1

- Line 1060: Revise the README sentence about pinned third-party actions so it
says workflow comments document action versions, matching the preceding block
comment used for superfly/flyctl-actions/setup-flyctl.
Review comments at @SECURITY.md:
- Around line 43-44: Narrow the outbound-dial guard statement in SECURITY.md to
API-server HTTP clients, clarifying that every API-server outbound client must
use internal/safenet without claiming this applies to all outbound HTTP clients.

…tl pin CodeRabbit on #115: SECURITY.md said every outbound HTTP client goes through safenet, but sactl builds a plain http.Client. It only talks to the API host the operator names, so the guard is an API-server property; say so. The README says every pin carries a trailing version comment and the flyctl pin had its version in the block comment above; move it to the line so the sentence is true everywhere. Changes
SECURITY.md: report to support@securityaccelerated.com, acknowledgement within three business days, scope (SSRF, auth bypass, rate-limit evasion, info disclosure in; DoS and third-party feeds out), supported version is whatevermain's latest tag runs. Points reviewers atsafenet, the key hashing rule, anddocs/decisions.md.checkout,setup-go,docker/login-action,docker/metadata-action,docker/setup-buildx-action,docker/build-push-action, each at the latest patch of its current major, with the version in a trailing comment. Resolved from each repo's tags via the API, annotated tags dereferenced to the commit..github/dependabot.yml: github-actions ecosystem, monthly. A SHA pin without this never sees a security release. Go modules deliberately excluded;make depsis the path for those.releasebranch, which has not existed for many releases. Now says whatRELEASE.mdsays: thev*tag is the deploy,workflow_dispatchwith a tag is the rollback. AlsoAGENTS.md: the uptime check pings/v1/health, not/v1/hello.docs/sales-slick.mdremoved. Nothing in the repo linked it.Verification
actionlintclean.make verifypasses. Thetest.ymlrun on this PR exercises the newcheckoutandsetup-gopins directly; the docker and fly-deploy pins run on merge and on the next tag.Summary by CodeRabbit
