Summary

  • The docs are technical reference and state no price (Pricing page states no price #77, closed as not planned).
  • /docs and /docs/domain each had a Plans table followed by a Pricing section that repeated the same limits with a Subscribe button. Each page now has one Plans section, with a "Get a Pro key" link and the portal link under the table.
    • The links still render from stripe.payment_link.pro and stripe.portal_link, falling back to "Contact us for a Pro key."
    • The duplicate table is gone, along with the #pricing sidebar entry.
  • Fixes three stale claims that an aggregate risk score comes with every response. It has been opt-in (risk in lookups) since v0.54.0.
  • Changelog entries go under v0.75.1 (patch). v1.0.0 stays reserved for the cutover.

Release after merge: make release V=v0.75.1.

Test plan

  • make verify passes. The docs layout and controls tests cover the templates.
  • No "Pricing", #pricing or "Subscribe" text left in the docs templates

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Documentation
    • Updated the Domain Intelligence overview to clarify that aggregate risk is optional and depends on the requested lookups.
    • Combined the Plans and Pricing information under Plans. The separate Pricing section and Free/Pro feature summary are no longer shown, and prices are not displayed.
    • Added a Pro key call to action beneath the Plans table, showing a payment link when available or “Contact us for a Pro key.”

The API docs are technical reference and state no price (#77, closed as
not planned). Both /docs and /docs/domain had a Plans table followed by
a Pricing section repeating the same limits with a Subscribe button.
They are now one Plans section each, with a "Get a Pro key" link and the
portal link under the table, still rendered from the Stripe config.

Also corrects three places that said an aggregate risk score comes with
every response; it has been opt-in since v0.54.0.

Starts the v1.0.0 changelog section, which the launch note will join.

📝 Walkthrough

Walkthrough

The documentation now describes aggregate risk as optional, consolidates Pricing content under Plans, and provides a conditional Pro call to action. A v1.0.0 changelog entry records these updates.

Update Plans and risk documentation
internal/handler/docs.html, internal/handler/docs_domain.html, internal/handler/changelog.yaml
The docs describe aggregate risk as optional through the risk lookup. They remove the separate Pricing section and its sidebar link, and replace it with a Pro call to action that uses .ProPaymentLink when set or displays contact text otherwise. The changelog records the documentation changes.

A docs correction is a patch, and v1.0.0 stays reserved for the cutover.
