I am a backend-focused software developer with more than five years of experience building and maintaining web systems, APIs, integrations and data-processing solutions.
My strongest professional stack is PHP, Laravel and Slim, but I also develop backend applications and services with Python, FastAPI, Node.js and Express.
Throughout my experience, I have worked with complex business rules, legacy-system modernization, third-party integrations, real-time communication, asynchronous processing, data pipelines and cloud-based services.
I participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, user stories, use cases, architecture decisions, implementation, automated testing, API documentation, code review, deployment and production maintenance.
I also have practical experience managing application infrastructure with Docker, Linux servers, GitHub Actions, reverse proxies, HTTPS, cloud platforms and deployment automation.
Although backend development is my main area, I am comfortable working across the full application when necessary, including frontend development, database modeling, infrastructure and product decisions.
- Backend development with PHP, Laravel, Slim, Python, FastAPI, Node.js and Express
- REST and SOAP API design and integration
- Integration with external platforms and artificial intelligence services
- Real-time communication using WebSockets
- ETL pipelines, web scraping, data normalization and analytical processing
- Relational database modeling and query optimization
- Layered architecture, Clean Architecture and design patterns
- Automated unit and integration testing
- API documentation with OpenAPI and Swagger
- Maintenance and modernization of legacy systems
- Docker-based development and production environments
- Linux server configuration and application deployment
- CI/CD and deployment automation with GitHub Actions
- Requirements analysis, user stories, use cases and technical documentation
My professional experience includes the development and maintenance of backend systems with complex business rules, external integrations and production-critical workflows.
Some of the areas I have worked with include:
- Development and modernization of procurement and electronic bidding systems
- REST and SOAP integrations with external and government-related platforms
- Real-time application features using WebSockets
- Performance analysis and optimization of database queries and backend processes
- Maintenance and gradual modernization of legacy PHP applications
- Automated deployment workflows using GitHub Actions
- Docker-based development and production environments
- Linux server administration and application deployment
- Services for orchestration and monitoring of asynchronous processing
- File generation, storage, consolidation and lifecycle management
- Cloud storage and execution tracking using Azure services
- Technical documentation, code reviews and software-quality improvements
These experiences involve not only implementation, but also understanding business requirements, investigating production problems, evaluating technical trade-offs and evolving existing systems without disrupting their current workflows.
The most complete product I have independently designed and developed so far.
SIGL is a robust full-stack web platform for creating, organizing and conducting interactive group activities. The project covers the complete product lifecycle, including problem analysis, requirements definition, architecture, interface design, backend development, real-time communication, testing, security, infrastructure and production deployment.
The system includes authentication, different user roles, room access through unique codes, configurable activity flows, real-time communication and interactive controls for managing sessions and participant experiences.
The application runs in a production environment on a Linux VPS using Docker, HTTPS, reverse proxy configuration, domain management, security controls and an organized deployment workflow.
The source code is currently maintained in a private repository because the project is still under active development.

Data engineering and backend application developed with Python for ingesting, validating, enriching, storing and analyzing public expense data from the Brazilian National Supplementary Health Agency.
The project includes a complete ETL pipeline, PostgreSQL persistence, analytical SQL queries and a FastAPI application organized with Router, Service and Repository layers.
It also documents architectural decisions, inconsistencies found in the original datasets, technical trade-offs and the strategies adopted to process heterogeneous public files efficiently.
Highlights: Python · FastAPI · ETL · PostgreSQL · Data validation · Layered architecture
Data collection, processing and analytical solution for public price quotations from Brazilian CEASAs.
The platform combines automated data extraction, normalization, relational storage and an interactive analytical dashboard with filters, indicators, charts, aggregated queries and database-level pagination.
The dashboard was developed with Python and Streamlit, while PostgreSQL and Supabase are used for data persistence. Docker provides a reproducible execution environment.
