This effects monitors XRUNs that might not be detected by reaper's built-in system, by comparing the OS clock to the rate of REAPER's block processing. This way, the length and position of the XRUNs can be logged quite accurately. The JSFX plugin writes to REAPER GMEM, and comes with lua scripts that can save the XRUNs, either to CSV, or directly into the project via regions (where the length of the region corresponds to the length of the XRUN). This is particularly useful when recording audio into the same project. One of the lua scripts can also re-sync the recorded audio to the OS clock, by filling in the gaps where underruns occurred.
