Install Pushword and its packages in minutes — automatic per-package install hooks.
- Automatic package setup — runs each package's
install.phponcomposer require. - Stays installed to support future package installs.
PostInstall::runPostUpdate executes each package's install.php when you add a Pushword
package, once per package. pushword/core's script is what sets a new project up: database,
super admin, routes, assets and default config.
pushword/installer remains installed afterwards so later composer require calls get the
same treatment.
It hung off post-install-cmd, which composer create-project never fires — so it never ran
on the documented install path, while install.php quietly did the same work. It did fire on
a later composer install, where it truncated config/routes.yaml and blocked on a prompt.
Since rc828 it is a no-op that removes itself from post-install-cmd. Projects created
before then clean up on their next composer install; nothing to do by hand.
If you prefer not to use automatic installation, you can:
- Remove
pushword/installerfrom your dependencies - Manually follow the steps in each package's
install.phpfile
