A user pointed out that marking a center exam “Visible” makes it sound like students can see it immediately, even when the Self-reserve date hasn’t arrived.
Update the visibility help text to explain:
- Normal self-reservation requires the exam to be visible, self-reservation to be enabled, and the Self-reserve date to have passed.
- Existing reservations become visible immediately when the exam is made visible.
- Individual overrides can allow earlier self-reservation.
The user also suggested a “Pending” state. A status like “Reservations open [date]” could help, but should avoid implying that existing reservations are hidden.
