Quick Start Guide

1. Open the model version file in Visum 26. (b) A warning message will pop up due to the missing custom VDF function, this can be ignored as we will rectify it with the process described below.
2. In Visum 26, navigate to the “Calculate” drop down menu and select “General procedure settings”.

3. In the “General procedure settings” window”, navigate to “Calculation on compute node” and copy the file path in the “User-defined VD function DLLs” row under the “Path” column. (a) Note that your file path will be different, but it will be in the same location as the table shown below.

4. Paste the file path into the “URL” bar in the File Explorer and click enter.
5. In a second window of File Explorer, navigate to: “\SimOR\skimming_and_assignment\visum_setup".
6. Copy and paste all 5 files from “_setup” with the name "VisumVDF_MetroApproach_4" (and various extensions) into the folder specified in the General procedure settings. This should still be open in your first instance of File Explorer.
7. Close out of Visum 26. When reopened, the warning message should not appear and the “Size” column in the General procedure settings will no longer be 0.00 KB for the “User-defined VD function DLLs” row.
