Where's the "How to use" section?

This file does not attempt to be a full documentation on how to use waveIDE. Instead, you can find full documentation here.

How can I see what is being worked on at The waveIDE Project?

You can find the official bug tracker and roadmap here.

What is waveIDE?

waveIDE is the open-source VSCode alternative that isn't just another fork. Not only that, but it's also completely telemetry-free and it's free software.

Currently, it's work in progress.

Motivation

waveIDE started out of frustration. I was extremely annoyed by how the .NET ecosystem, despite being cross-platform, was extremely tied to big corporations: outside of Microsoft and JetBrains, good luck finding a good IDE for .NET development.

I began working on waveIDE as a way of taking a break from other time-consuming projects and eventually evolved it into a VSCode-alternative, instead of something targetted specifically at the .NET ecosystem.
