Alternative method for deprecated forUri() method

Hi,

I want to replace Encode::forUri with something that is not depricated. Does anyone know what method should I use to cover that up? I can't use forUriComponent() because I have to convert an link, not a query, and also forUriComponent() doesn't convert all the characters as forUri() did

Code example:
private static final ImmutableList<UnaryOperator> ENCODING_CHAIN_URL_IN_HTML_ATTRIBUTE = ImmutableList.of(Encode::forUri, EsEncode::uriAsSafeSchemeUri, Encode::forHtml);

forURL ? No one really uses URI anymore that was just Jeff :)

For anyone landing here from a search: 1.5.0 answers this. Encode.forUri is deprecated, and Encoders.URI, ForUriTag and the forUri tag and EL function are now deprecated too (#130, #170). The Javadoc and the README's Migrating from forUri section say what to use instead. In short, use forUriComponent for each untrusted value inserted into a URL. For an entire untrusted URL, parse it with java.net.URI, allow-list its scheme, then encode it for the enclosing context (for example forHtmlAttribute).
