offset should be number of nodes, not number of dofs
required in AdaptiveSetup to avoid casting to ASMuxD
the nodal averaging code in SIMbase::project uses the global node number and this breaks since since these are for all bases, not just basis 1.
in particular, the refinements basis differ from the finite element bases for some formulations, so a simple node numbering scheme for the refinement basis is required to perform the multi-patch refinements. use the GlobalNodes class for this
