Sends postcards to Baltimore City residents at risk of default judgment
The purpose of the program is to pull all the Baltimore City cases coming up where
- The defendant has been served
- The case is a contract case
- There is a hearing date currently set
- It is in a zip code with high percentage of default judgments (21213,21215,21217,21218).
The program will then send a post card to the defendant with information on
- Who is suing them
- Case Number
- When their court date is
- What time their court date is
- Where teh court house is
- Information on how to get help.
