• reframes the Konnect Reference Platform as maintained architecture guidance plus a readable working example, not a bootstrap tool
• removes koctl, Konnect Orchestrator, registry, polling, and fictional reference-platform command guidance
• documents federated platform/service ownership with one default branch and distinct development/production resources
• documents a beta-root and immutable-stable OpenAPI lifecycle with PR-producing release automation
• documents direct kongctl and decK workflows, exact-artifact production promotion, RBAC boundaries, and apply-only v1 behavior
• uses Key Auth plus service-scoped ACE for protected APIs and leaves public APIs anonymous
• redirects the removed Orchestrator page and links the optional AI Marketplace skill

Compatibility dependency

kongctl 1.14.0 contains the control-plane API implementation support from Kong/kongctl#1992. The examples intentionally preserve generalized external lookup as the federated target while remaining lookup coverage is completed in kongctl; they do not introduce a compatibility registry or wrapper.

Validation

• Vale on all changed Markdown: zero findings
• landing-page YAML parsing and git diff --check
• the four service repositories pass deterministic generation, decK validation, actionlint, YAML parsing, Bash syntax, and ownership/release lint
• an isolated release simulation produced a stable snapshot, advanced the beta, updated the production selector, and rejected mutation of an older stable release

CI remains the full-site proof.
