Complete the 1.6.0 changelog rollover
When the v1.6.0 tag runs, .github/workflows/release.yml invokes changelog-section.mjs and publishes only this section, but changes that were added after 1.5.0—such as the OpenAI-compatible provider, security fixes, and model-capability fallback—remain under Unreleased even though they ship in the 1.6.0 artifact. The reference links also still compare Unreleased from v1.5.0 and define no [1.6.0] target. Move all pending entries into this release and roll the comparison links forward so the generated release notes and changelog accurately describe 1.6.0.
Useful? React with 👍 / 👎.
The extension, npm package and client examples currently report different old versions, and the OpenClaw example still allows only the original 10 tools. Align version metadata at 1.6.0, update OpenClaw to all 45 supported tools and add the release changelog section.
Validation: the full scripts/check.sh gate passed with 365 tests. A local npm package was built and installed globally; weboperator-mcp, npx --offline weboperator-mcp and the workspace server each report 1.6.0 with 45 tools. The workspace extension has been rebuilt as 1.6.0.
This change does not publish an npm release or tag a GitHub release. npm publication currently requires renewed authentication (npm whoami returns 401). Live acceptance of new image/dialog/task commands remains incomplete because the prior browser verification session was blocked by a Computer Use URL restriction.
