What & why

As multiple autonomous coding agents work concurrently, locating specific tasks across the Command Center's Kanban board quickly becomes difficult as ledger entries accumulate. This PR introduces real-time search, an assignee dropdown filter, a one-click toggle for tasks blocked on user input (? needs answer), and a retro empty state. This allows developers to instantly isolate blocked items or focus on work assigned to specific agents without manual scanning.

Type of change

  • Bug fix
  • New feature
  • Refactor / cleanup
  • Docs
  • Build / CI

Evidence

Before

kanban-before *

The Kanban board displayed only the total task count with no way to query, filter by agent, or isolate tasks awaiting human responses.

After

kanban-after *

The Kanban board now features a real-time query filter with a clear button (✕ and Escape), an assignee selector dropdown, a ? needs answer quick toggle chip, matching count display (X of Y tasks), and a retro empty state with a "clear filter" action.

How I tested it

  • OS: Windows 11
  • Steps:
    1. Ran npm run typecheck to verify zero TypeScript errors across tsconfig.node.json and tsconfig.web.json.
    2. Ran npm run build to verify electron-vite bundling succeeds.
    3. Launched the app via npm run dev inside Electron.
    4. Opened Command Center -> Tasks tab.
    5. Tested real-time search input with partial keywords, clearing with both Escape and the ✕ icon.
    6. Filtered by assignee using the dropdown (all assignees, unassigned, and specific agents).
    7. Toggled ? needs answer chip to verify filtering for blocked tasks.
    8. Verified the empty state ("No tasks match your filter") and the "clear filter" button with a non-matching query.
    9. Verified localized text in English (en.json), Chinese (zh-CN.json), and Arabic (ar.json).
