notes
- my opinions are not the opinions of the actual development team
- this is not a complete review. I'm just bringing up basic vocab stuff now in case anything depending on it would need to change, and then I'll do a whole look-over
- this is not requested changes: a lot of it is me asking questions to learn or making suggestions based on my own experience. I don't have official localization experience
- a lot of my suggestions are "use Kanji for this" to match the academic/ancient vibe of Hex Casting
- I don't know Japanese Minecraft that well: there could be a place where I suggested kanji where the game uses kana and I am simply wrong about fitting in
- there's a lot of places where の is used between words where imo it could be dropped, like in pigments or 伝承の断片
- in general my opinion is the rarity of the Japanese word should close-to-match the rarity of the English word

No, it’s okay as 鎮静片: I used 片 as short for 欠片.

For splice I would choose something more visceral like 添え木 or 継ぎ目 or 接ぎ木: maybe as a whole, 精神接ぎの杖?

Magic the Gathering (the original reference) uses 精神接合

The English text has no punctuation: should this be the same?

In retrospect, it might be good to be 中くらい, in the same way as name of amethyst buds in Japanese Minecraft: 小さなアメジストの芽, 中くらいのアメジストの芽, and 大きなアメジストの芽.

I think if you wanted to go extra fancy shmancy you could run 明鏡止水 and 支離滅裂 but I'm not at the level where I can suggest that seriously

Is this meant to be I see, it's using 呪文?紋 for wordplay. In that case I wonder if it's ever reasonable to replace パターン with 紋 wholesale.

That makes sence. Although, on second thought, it might be good to use 体力のメディア量 like other texts of media amount option, rather than translate this literally.
