Summary

Documents the Pro Custom Fields feature (typed custom fields that replace the earlier free-form metadata), paired with the DefectDojo Pro change that adds it.

  • New page Custom Fields under Asset Modelling: defining typed fields per record type (seven data types), filling them in from the record's kebab menu, showing them on a record's page and as opt-in table columns, the one-way opt-in feature flag, and converting existing metadata (including the v2 endpoint and *_meta behavior once enabled).
  • Links to the new page from the Assets and Findings pages, and updates the Findings kebab entry to note it reads "Add Custom Field" by default and becomes the typed "Custom Fields" editor when the feature is enabled.

Flag off is unchanged: the page states that until the feature is enabled, DefectDojo behaves exactly as it did before (metadata stays free-form).

Text-only per the docs-PR convention; no screenshots.

Add the Custom Fields page under asset modelling and link it from the Assets and
Findings pages. Covers defining typed fields per record type, filling them in from
the record menu, showing them on record pages and as opt-in table columns, the
one-way opt-in feature flag, and converting existing metadata. Flag off is unchanged.
