Code Review
This pull request introduces a smoke testing harness for CLI process acceptance, including a test runner (tools/smoke-cli.mjs), a report generator (tools/smoke-report.mjs), documentation, and validation artifacts. Feedback on the new test runner highlights two key improvements: making the option argument parser helper more robust to prevent returning incorrect arguments when an option is missing, and explicitly calling process.exit(130) on SIGINT to prevent the process from hanging due to active sleep timers.

Code Review
This pull request introduces a smoke test harness and validation reporting tools for the DOSRouter CLI runtime on Windows, including the smoke-cli.mjs harness and HTML report generator. The review feedback highlights two important issues in the test harness script: a potential TypeError when evaluating reasoningNormalized if req.messages is undefined, and a process hang issue where the SIGINT handler does not explicitly call process.exit() to terminate active timers.

Review comments at @tools/smoke-cli.mjs:
- Line 69: Update the `/__finish` handler to validate submitted
`evidence.browser` against the corresponding browser requests recorded by the
smoke CLI before accepting it. Ensure `renderReport()` marks Playwright as
passed only when those requests were actually made and the submitted evidence
matches.
- Line 128: In the concurrency check, attach a rejection handler to the promise
returned by `chat` for `first`, then ensure the held response is released and
`first` is settled in a `finally` block. Keep the existing assertions and
successful request flow unchanged.

Independent read-only source review completed for final head adbff8e: Ready to merge, no remaining correctness/safety findings. Coverage is reviewed ancestor 6eb201b plus its final delta, including source hashes, evidence/report integrity, isolated profile safety, exact assistant/model assertions and bounded interrupt cleanup. Both review findings were fixed and focused process probes verified the changes.
Evidence: corrected-driver full suite 18/18, final-source immediate scenarios 16/16, explicit Ctrl+C cleanup, Node syntax/diff checks and saved MCP Playwright runtime/report readback. The interrupted probe does not claim a timer pass. No Go/module source changed.
Limits: browser evidence was read, not independently rerun by the reviewer; real provider/payment/staging/deployment and Linux execution were outside this review. Codex cloud review quota was exhausted; its failed trigger is not source-review evidence. CodeRabbit's generic docstring warning is advisory, not an established repository merge gate. Required CI and native-thread closure are checked separately before merge.

Independent final-delta source review completed at be07ad9 (reviewed ancestor adbff8e plus this delta): Ready to merge; no remaining correctness/safety findings. Both subsequent CodeRabbit findings are addressed: browser-proof/gateway correlation with negative probes, and immediate rejection handling plus finally release/settlement for concurrency failure. Reviewer independently exercised wrong/missing trace/revision/model/fetch-site cases, checked source hashes, final-source 16/16 process evidence, clean shutdown, HTML/JSON consistency, syntax and diff checks.
Coverage includes prior reviewed full 18-scenario timer runs; focused final probes intentionally stop before another timer tick. External MCP browser observations are attestations correlated with the gateway chat. No Go/module changes. Live provider/payment/staging/deployment, Linux and automated CI status remain outside this source review and are not claimed as passed.
The upstream sync had source and CI coverage but lacked acceptance evidence from the standalone CLI process. Add a Windows process harness with isolated USERPROFILE state, a synthetic localhost gateway, and a Vietnamese HTML report with machine-readable evidence for merged revision 422774f.
The harness covers 18 scenarios: catalog startup/five-minute refresh/recovery, bounded fallback and outcome memory, reasoning normalization, free aliases, SSE, spend admission/reservations, local browser trust and clean shutdown. Browser proof must match the expected revision/model/status and an independent gateway chat trace. Failed concurrency assertions still release and settle the held request. Interrupt cleanup is bounded and active before process startup.
Validation: two full 18-scenario runs; final-source 16/16 immediate process checks with intentional interrupt shutdown; negative browser-proof and concurrency-failure probes; Node syntax checks; MCP Playwright same-origin health/catalog/chat, cross-site rejection, desktop/mobile rendering and final report readback. The initial Host-header driver error, raw HTTP recheck, reviewed source hashes and limits remain in docs/validation/2026-10-22.
Independent review covers the final head through reviewed ancestors and affected deltas. All actionable findings were fixed and native threads resolved. No product Go/module changes, real provider calls, payment or remote deployment. Remote staging is unconfigured; external MCP browser observations are attestations correlated with the gateway chat.
