Bible study data and tools, freely given, for Christians who build software for other Christians. Take it, fellow labourer, build something to the glory of our King and for the benefit of His people.
The end goal is always that someone is helped to study the Bible in order to grow in their faith.
There is a real danger that we use Biblical data and software simply to see some interesting things, while we forget that it is God's Word that we are dealing with, and we should have a holy respect for the holy things of God. We should be students of God's Word, in willing submission under it: quick to believe, quick to obey, and always taking it to heart, accepting everything that God says.
Another real danger is that we read and study the Bible without a conscious, prayerful dependence on the Holy Spirit. Instead we may think that our tools can give us what we need, and so we turn to depend on man, and not on God.
I say this to encourage you in your own study of God's Word, as well as to give you pause to think about what manner of study you are aiming to facilitate in the software that you build for others.
