I'm a software engineer with a thing for embedded systems and hardware that actually ships. I've spent the last few years building everything from real-time bus tracking firmware to semi-autonomous forklifts β usually in C, C++, or Python, usually working on the interface between software and its application in the real world.
Currently at Think Circuits working on autonomous navigation and embedded camera systems.
- Languages: C, C++, C#, Python, Java
- Embedded & Hardware: Raspberry Pi Pico, CAN, I2C, UART, SPI, CAD
- Frameworks & Tools: ROS2, OpenCV, WPF, .NET, LLM Toolcalling, Git, Linux
- AI / Cloud: Computer Vision, LLM integration, Google Cloud
- PinpointAVL (closed source) β Real-time vehicle tracking running on 19 UCSC campus buses. Firmware in C on Raspberry Pi Pico, backend in C#/.NET. Won 1st place at UCSC Launchpad 2022 out of 19 teams ($10k prize).
- Slugbotics Robotic Arm β Computer vision and LLM integration for a 3D-printed robotic arm. Object recognition in Python + OpenCV, with Llama 3.2 toolcalling for natural-language task direction.
- Confab Agora (closed source) β Real-time voice and text chat app in C# and WPF. Built the whole stack: auth, SQL storage, TCP/UDP transmission, and a game launcher on top.
