The rumoca-windows-x86_64.exe release binary of Rumoca 0.10.2 serves
its 3-D viewer page from files it expects in a source checkout. Without them, the viewer page shows "Missing
Rumoca viewer shell. Prepare packages/rumoca-web assets in the checkout containing viz/viewer.html and
vendor/three_viewer.js." The binary looks for packages/rumoca-web/ under the current working folder (see
crates/rumoca-sim/src/web.rs, candidate_package_paths and candidate_vendor_paths).
This repository provides those two files, a script that fetches the CLI, and a launcher. It is used as a git
submodule (external/rumoca-web-assets) by
ALSETLab/rumoca-rocket-landing and
ALSETLab/rumoca-drone-library.
| File | Purpose |
|---|---|
packages/rumoca-web/viz/viewer.html |
Viewer page, unchanged from CogniPilot/rumoca tag v0.10.2. |
packages/rumoca-web/vendor/three_viewer.js |
three 0.164.1 plus GLTFLoader, bundled with esbuild 0.28.1 (the same entry as Rumoca's packages/rumoca-web/build.mjs). |
get_rumoca.ps1 |
Downloads rumoca-windows-x86_64.exe v0.10.2 to bin\rumoca.exe (not committed) and checks its SHA-256. |
start_viewer.ps1 |
Starts bin\rumoca.exe sim -c <scenario> from this folder and opens the browser when the viewer answers. |
.\get_rumoca.ps1
.\start_viewer.ps1 -Scenario C:\path\to\rumoca-scenario.toml -Url http://localhost:8080start_viewer.ps1 runs get_rumoca.ps1 itself on first use. It polls 127.0.0.1, not localhost: on some
Windows machines localhost tries IPv6 first and answers about 2 s late, while the viewer listens on IPv4 only.
Needs Node.js (a portable Node 24.21 was used):
cd build
npm install --no-audit --no-fund three@0.164.1 esbuild@0.28.1
.\node_modules\.bin\esbuild.cmd entry.js --bundle --format=esm --platform=browser --target=es2020 --minify --legal-comments=none --outfile=..\packages\rumoca-web\vendor\three_viewer.jsThe scripts and build files are BSD 3-Clause (LICENSE). The viewer page is Apache-2.0 (CogniPilot) and
three.js is MIT; see NOTICE and LICENSES/.
