Note
9base status: Preserved. Lifecycle: archived source record; not actively maintained by 9base.
This is Kenneth Salerno's Ken's Monitor, a VM/I/O and process-monitoring shell tool for Unix-like systems. It is a standalone source import, not original 9base software and not a GitHub fork.
The sole import commit, dated 11 October 2020, explicitly records an upload from Ken's Monitor on SourceForge and credits Kenneth Salerno. The original README, dated 28 February 2010, names Salerno as author and copyright holder and records the historical supported systems and usage. It is preserved unchanged, along with COPYING, the manual and packaging material.
The import commit establishes preservation work by the curator, not authorship of the imported program. Exact identity to a particular SourceForge release was not verified. No later technical development or larger 9base project family was established. This repository is retained as a historical source reference; it should not be confused with unrelated projects also named kmon.
Archival context reconstructed on 8 October 2026 from the import commit and existing documentation. The dates above describe the original documentation and import, not the repository's unverified archive date.
