From d272f6f5b308101f684c125c820dce7611edce7e Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: zignd Date: Sat, 24 Oct 2026 13:28:36 -0300 Subject: [PATCH 01/11] ci: run the workflow on the local self-hosted runners Select the runner fleet through the TRACE_CI_RUNNERS repository variable, like Trace Arena and Forma. Under self-hosted the macOS ARM64 and Linux x64 legs stay; the Windows and Linux arm64 legs are dropped (no Windows machine, and the arm64 Linux container is too small for the native build). Packaging and deploy are skipped for the same reason: they merge the native binaries of every leg, including Windows, and the fork must not publish. The Linux test leg now installs the SDL/X11/GL/Vulkan runtime libraries and starts Xvfb with llvmpipe/lavapipe, because the local runner image is a plain .NET container. The tools tests use $HOME for MGFXC_WINE_PATH instead of the hosted runner's fixed home. --- .github/workflows/main.yml | 106 +++++++++++++++++++++---------------- 1 file changed, 59 insertions(+), 47 deletions(-) diff --git a/.github/workflows/main.yml b/.github/workflows/main.yml index 00d04d6e77c..379be689e32 100644 --- a/.github/workflows/main.yml +++ b/.github/workflows/main.yml @@ -12,29 +12,21 @@ env: jobs: build: - name: build-${{ matrix.os }} - runs-on: ${{ matrix.os }} + name: build-${{ matrix.platform }} + # TRACE_CI_RUNNERS picks GitHub-hosted runners (unset) or the local fleet (`self-hosted`); see + # docs/self-hosted-runners.md in Trace Arena.
