Sometimes, when I open a note, its empty

Occasionally, when I open a note, it appears empty even though I know it contains content. After deselecting and re-selecting the note a few times, the content eventually appears.

I have not tested typing into the empty editor, as I want to avoid potential data loss and I am unable to intentionally reproduce the issue.

Ik looks like this most often happens after opening the application, and with the currently open note.

That's strange, can you run Folio from the command line and replicate the issue to see if any messages are produced?

Sure thing. I will let you know if i managed to reproduce while running from cli.

It has not occurred anymore at the moment. I will get back to you if I managed to reproduce.

This happens to me often, lately some of my notes haven't been saving. I thought it was something do with with permissions with my save folder. In the past loading another note and then going back to the original note it would load.

Also, but some letters seem to be distorted at the top of the folio note and sometimes the top of note is even clipped off. I just never bothered to make a report because I thought maybe it was my own settings in some way.

if i use it, and do not get an correct rendered view it looks like a 1 appreas every time.

The second error seems likely to be the issue as if the file isn't valid utf8 (or at least Folio for some reason doesn't think it is) it certainly won't be displayed correctly.

Have you moved your notes to a non-default folder? If not, could you try doing that?

The files are from outdside (My Nextcloud Notes file) and every file i check with isutf8: isutf8 -v -l */* *

I did not encounter this issue anymore. I will not close it, as @wrenix is still reporting issues. But for me, No need to keep this issue open.
