  <h1 class="page-heading">Travel information</h1>
  <p>If traveling <em>by air</em>, one should fly into DTW (Detroit Metropolitan Airport).
  <p>To get from DTW to Ann Arbor, you may use one of the following:
  <ul>
    <li>taxi (Metrocab at airport): ~$70
    <li>Uber/Lyft: ~$40 if not surge pricing
    <li><a href="http://www.myairride.com">AirRide</a>: $12-15 one way, $22-30 roundtrip. Comfortable bus with Wi-Fi. Drops off near Blake Transit Center in Ann Arbor (so might need to take a bus/Uber/taxi from BTC to the hotel after that)
    <li>any of the different shuttle services
  </ul>
  <p>If traveling <em>by train</em>, there is an Amtrak station in Ann Arbor (ARB).
  <p>If you are being reimbursed for your travel for the workshop, please keep all your travel receipts. You may be reimbursed for airfare, ground transportation, etc., up to the limit specified in your funding offer. There will be a reimbursement form available at the workshop and further instructions given.

  <h1 class="page-heading">Local information</h1>

  <p>Most participants will be staying at <a href="https://www.lamppostinn.com/">The University Inn</a>. There is a Trader Joe's next to it. The hotel also has a continental breakfast.

  <p>The walk between the University Inn and the math department is about 35 minutes. One can also take a bus, in particular, the #4 (either 4A or 4B works) from <a href="http://www.theride.org">TheRide</a>. It runs approximately every 10 minutes during the day, then every 30 minutes until 11pm. Here are the schedules:

  <p>Most of the senior participants will be staying at <a href="http://graduateannarbor.com/">Graduate Ann Arbor</a>, which is a short walk to the math department.

  <p>The math department is in <a href="https://www.google.com/maps/place/East+Hall,+530+Church+St,+Ann+Arbor,+MI+48109/@42.2757302,-83.7395538,16z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x883cae443d4c6a19:0xca900ea127a5c056!8m2!3d42.2757212!4d-83.7351922?hl=en">East Hall, 530 Church St</a>. The administrative offices and the common room are on the 2nd floor. The research talks and the coffee breaks will be in the math department, and the working groups will be in the <a href="https://goo.gl/maps/3Xemis45rKA2">Modern Language Building</a>.
