I recently found Hack and it looked like a very promising upgrade of my current usage of DejaVu. Unfortunately, it renders very poorly compared to DejaVu, at least in a full hinting setup. Is perhaps full hinting simply missing in Hack?
This is DejaVu:
And this is Hack:
Stems are much thicker and do not align to pixel boundaries. The difference between bold and regular is also much less clear than DejaVu.
