"Out-of-Date" Warning Message on Game Version 12.0.0

The SimulationCraft addon gives an "out-of-date" warning.

The game version is 12.0.0

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the addon several times via CurseForge.

I have not run the addon since I got the out-of-date warning, and I have uninstalled the addon.

I've attached some screenshots, hoping one of them will help.

The latter two screenshots are of the _retail_ client flavor, which is not currently 12.0.0.

I cannot replicate any issues with the addon being impossible to load on any current 12.0.x client flavour (PTR, nor Beta).

You can likely fix this error by getting CurseForge to recognize wherever you have the beta/ptr client files installed, and then switching the dropdown in the top right to the appropriate client flavour. At that point, you will be able to update the addon via CurseForge.

Alternatively to manually update, remove the Simulationcraft folder for the appropriate flavor, which will be located in either _beta_/Interface/AddOns or _ptr_/Interface/AddOns. Then copy the Simulationcraft folder from _retail_/Interface/AddOns to the appropriate destination.

I'm not sure I understand. I updated my previous version of SimulationCraft via CurseForge. I have been using previous versions of SimulationCraft for quite a while without issue. I have not run a simulation using my latest update/download because of the out-of-date warning. Is there anything I can try? Should I download the addon from somewhere other than CurseForge? Is the version number you referenced in the original post ("...game version is 12.0.0") the version being reported by CurseForge, and not the version of the WoW client you're running?

Which version of the WoW client are you encountering issues with? (version number available at bottom left of login screen or right under the "Play" button)

Ok, that was causing some confusion at least for me. #59 addresses out of date warnings for the current 11.2.7 version of Retail. Until then, checking "Load out of date AddOns" will allow the addon to work just fine.
