Description

I cant download userscript from my own website, but i can in codeberg? why does it not allow me? I look for settings maybe its for safety but no such thing. Only happens in chrome for stable and nightly, firefox stable is ok.

Steps to Reproduce

Your server returns Content-Type: application/x-javascript for that URL:

On Chrome, ScriptCat's install redirect only fires for an allow-list of Content-Type values, and application/x-javascript isn't in it. Without the redirect, the navigation falls through to Chrome's own .user.js handling — that's the message you're seeing. Firefox doesn't use that condition, and Codeberg serves text/plain, which is why both work.

For now, serving the file as application/javascript, text/javascript or text/plain works — verified with all three.

We may look at widening the accepted list later, but nothing decided yet.

Please fix your own website setting.
You shall adjust your python script https://code.agha.work/ssgit/ssgit.py to add the content-type for javascript file.
