Watch OS integration install fails

I tried to add the Watch OS integration to my phone (Samsung Galaxy A14 5G, Android 15 Patch 5) and it brings me to the v2 github page and won't let me install the apk package. I think it's because it is a different app but has the same package name so I will try to do that but can you verify why it doesn't work?

That should not happen... On what watch did you try to install it? Keep in mind that the wearOS app goes on the watch not the Android device (which will cause this conflict).

You need to setup wireless ADB for installing on the watch.
