Default genkernel doesn't boot on Hyper-V #28

Description

Unlike most Linux distributions, Gentoo doesn't boot as a Hyper-V VM. The Hyper-V components do not seem to be compiled in. Adding them in, following the Wiki (which doesn't quite have the order right, as certain settings need to be enabled before others become settable) results in a bootable kernel. Similarly, initramfs doesn't work, because it doesn't recognise Hyper-V storage.

So the issue is not really a technical one -- the relevant flags are all there to be set -- it seems to be a choice.

That said, it'd be even better if MS' Hyper-V tools were also available. MS makes them available for some popular Linux Distributions. Without them, the barrier to installing Gentoo is higher, as you can't past into a Gentoo window, etc.
