From 4c54c12d87fff75fae1154ea5e419a95f78fe28d Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: JohnnyT Date: Sun, 11 Oct 2026 09:05:09 -0600 Subject: [PATCH] Says when the changelog preamble may change .claude/wurk/commit.md says CHANGELOG.md is never edited outside a release, and an earlier documentation fix had to change the preamble's changelog.d/README.md link from a relative path to a tag URL, which the rule's wording neither allowed nor forbade. One sentence now settles it: an edit outside every version section, the preamble or a link in it, is permitted outside a release only when it fixes a broken or stale link or a stale preamble fact, and changes no version section's text. Agent tooling only; no file under lib/ changes and no fragment.
