Hi Requestly team,
I’m a GitHub Student Developer Pack user with an active Requestly Professional Student plan, and I’m trying to use the official @requestly/mcp server.
The current README says that the MCP server requires:
REQUESTLY_API_KEY
and links to the API access form for requesting a key.
However, that form now shows an update dated March 17, 2026 stating that the Public API has been deprecated and that new API keys are no longer being issued.
This leaves new users unable to authenticate the official MCP server.
Could you please clarify the currently supported authentication path for new MCP users?
Specifically, is there:
a replacement authentication method,
an OAuth-based MCP flow,
a new private API,
or is the MCP server currently intended only for users who already have legacy API keys?
I’m happy to test the recommended setup and report back.
