My iPad is an iPad Pro 12.9 inch, 5th generation, running 26.5.2
I downloaded Userscripts from the iOS store yesterday, so I have the latest copy
I use the script Default to/Force Old Reddit (https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/569062-default-to-force-old-reddit-on-www-reddit-com/post-install) on desktop quite successfully, and I would like to use it on my iPad, but have not yet gotten it to work. To my knowledge, no scripts that I've tried are working. I've tried for a few days (I doubt this is an iCloud issue, as you'll see in a second, but just in case you were worried iCloud "wasn't updated", it's had over 24 hours to do so.)
Here is Userscripts running on my iPad, I have the scripts directory set to the default directory, which points to On My iPad, not iCloud, when I tap on it.
I have turned Usescripts on in Settings:
and I am able to see it on when I tap on the puzzle piece in Safari:
If I tap on the Usescript icon (</>) itself, I see this, which also appears if I tap the cloud icon. Demo user script is there, and I can tap to gray it out or make the text white, which does nothing beyond change the text color.
If I tap on the folder icon, I can see this list of scripts I've downloaded, and I can tap them to gray them out or make their text white, but again, they do not run.
I went looking for the Userscripts folder in Files, and found it on On My iPad, as seen here. Nothing has an iCloud download icon next to it, so it should all be sitting on my iPad ready to run to the best of my knowledge.
I did try force restarting the iPad, which didn't work.
What else should I be doing/where should I be looking to get Userscripts to run?
