I was just reading about the ability to integrate OpenCloud with Collabora, and will likely investigate that sometime soon.
I believe that would scratch my itch, but seems like a higher barrier to entry for folks who primarily want file sync,
and importantly I think requires an active web connection to the OpenCloud server to use.
What I would like to do is be able to modify plaintext (usually Markdown) files that are synced to/from my Android device via OpenCloud.
I'd be happy to use a third-party plaintext editing application if #24 is resolved, but even short of that, being able to edit plaintext within the app itself would likely be convenient for many folks.
If you deliberately kept it barebones (no Markdown preview or WYSIWYG editing), I imagine the interface would just be a multiline text editor and maybe a save/undo button.
Having this available for completely offline editing locally on the Android device,
which could then sync later when connection to the server got re-established,
would be sweet.
Thanks for considering!
I am excited about this suite of tools.
