A participant in a flashing workshop was three times under the impression that program was in a loop, because in the step nothing changed except for the text. The green buttons at the top stay in the same step.
Describe the solution you'd like
Be more explicit about different sub-steps, so that more of the content on the page changes. Some ideas:
- Change the title to include a specific text for each substep.
- Have some progress indicator underneath the main step progress indicator. Could be in words 'step 1 of 4' or more visually with similar circles as the main steps indicator: 'o-o-o-x-o-o'.
- Include a number or progress indicator at the beginning of the text.
