Request: explicit open-source license (MIT / Apache-2.0) #2

Description

@gideonnijis8-cpu

Hi!

I'm using your Convert2Shellcode library in a private Go-based security research tooling project, and we're planning to use it in commercial engagements as well. Since the repository currently has no LICENSE file, default copyright restrictions apply, which blocks us from vendoring or deriving from the code.

Could you add an explicit license — MIT or Apache-2.0 preferred? We'd be happy to include full attribution.

Thanks for the great work on the library — the versioned RDI blob design (no toolchain needed for library users) is really practical.

Context on our evaluation (for transparency): we compared Convert2Shellcode against sRDI, pe_to_shellcode, and donut; the pure-Go API and pre-built versioned loader blobs made it the strongest fit. An explicit license would let us adopt it properly instead of reimplementing.
